We already knew that she would not be a classic bride nor a groundbreaking one. Because if something was clear Ana Cristina Portillo before her wedding with Santiago Camachoit was that He wanted to stay true to his style.. “I’m very ‘me’, which in the end is the most important thing,” he told us. And so it was. Last Saturday, his best kept secret was revealed: a dress inspired by classical Greece -that he is passionate about-. The designer entrusted Jorge Acuna the creation, made of silk muslin, with a draped asymmetrical body and silver embroidery that had been made by hand. Although, perhaps, the most original touch was the four great layers that replaced the classic veil that most brides wear on their big day.
What many did not know is that it would not be Ana Cristina’s only bridal look in her ‘I do’. As revealed by ¡HOLA!, exclusively, this week, I had saved a new dress for the celebrationdifferent from the previous one. The bride surprised her guests with a model in pure style Old Hollywood which, of course, also reflected his personality, and which, again, signed Jorge Acuña.
The dress, in silk satinhad asymmetrical neckline and a flowing skirtwith side opening. Her back was almost exposed – only covered with three straps – and the most striking detail was the gold embroiderymade by hand, that hid various messages.
In these embroideries there were some leaves – which symbolized the field, which she likes to paint so much -, an ‘S’ – in honor of her mother, Sandra Domecq -, a jasmine – because her mother used to put bowls with water and jasmines in them. on the bedside table -, a small acorn – for her father – and three dragonflies – for her sisters and because she loves them and they remind her of her childhood.
A perfect and comfortable look, with which she could enjoy, to the rhythm of the music of the group Third Floor and DJ Julio Torres, who were in charge of livening up this special day for her.
