APPLE FLOGNARDE RECIPE, STEP BY STEP

Next, we give you a recipe to prepare a Flognarde apple, but you can change this fruit for another of your choice; for example, with pears, like the one in the image above, it is equally delicious).

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 large apples
  • 3 eggs
  • 100g sugar
  • 125g flour
  • 300 ml of milk
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • 20 g of butter (to grease the mold)
  • Powdered sugar (to sprinkle at the end)

ELABORATION:

-Preheat the oven to 180ºC.

-Grease a round or square mold of about 24 cm with butter.

-Peel the apples (or the fruit of your choice) and cut them into pieces or slices.

-In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until the mixture is light and foamy.

-Add the flour and a pinch of salt to the eggs and sugar mixture. Stir well to avoid lumps.

-Little by little, add the milk to the mixture and, if you wish, the vanilla. Beat until you obtain a smooth and liquid dough.

-Place the apple pieces evenly on the bottom of the greased mold.

-Pour the liquid mixture over the fruits.

-Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown, and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

-Let the flognarde cool a little before unmolding. You can sprinkle with icing sugar before serving.
