He Mexican Center for Philanthropy (Cemefi) held the twenty-fourth edition of its awards ceremony Silver Snailwith which he recognized those messages and campaigns with social benefit.
Jorge Aguilar Valenzuela, president of Cemefithanked for the commitment to build messages with meaning, with a cause, and invited to continue building this trend that more and more companies see messages with social value as the central form of communication.
“I am sure that they will be appreciated by their consumers but they will also be awakening and generating awareness in society,” he said at the event.
The president of the Communication Council, José Carlos Azcárraga, said during the event that messages can generate big changes in societywhich is why they collaborate with Cemefi to promote within companies, social organizations and universities, the creation of more campaigns with social impact and rewarding the best messages from all over Latin America.
For her part, the Secretary of Social Development of Mexico City, Manola Zabalza, commented that Companies not only represent a source of employment, but are institutions that promote and drive values. that help to have social issues, integration and shared prosperity.
“It is an honor for us to be able to share and give these awards to great companies that help us promote the values of Mexican society.”
The categories that were recognized were: poster, video and campaigns in universities; graphics, audiovisual, radio, digital media and campaigns on a professional scale.
According to Cemefi, in this 24th edition, 191 messages were received from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala and Mexico; while in the university competition this year Its central theme was actions in favor of migrants and had a participation of 774 messages from 40 universities and 10 Latin American countries
The university category was recognized by the Universidad Panamericana Campus Mexico City with the creator Alan Gonzaga Degollado, for the poster “Just because you don’t see it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.”
In video, the winner was Roberto Rodríguez from the Universidad Latinoamericana with the video Migration. While in the campaigns category the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana won with the creator Luis David Pedrozo and Katherin Naranjo with the work “Kilometres from his profession”.
In the professional category the winners were in audiovisuals, “One story, thousands of protagonists” from the Recreo Agency for the Cinépolis Foundation
In graphics “Your donation helps a lot in class-Girl” from the Birth Group Agency for Save The Children México.
