Peso advances and BMV retreats in review of the reform of the Judicial Branch
The Mexican peso appreciated with a gain of 0.31 percentculminating at 19.34 per dollar, this Thursday, October 3, 2024.
With this, the national currency has corrected its initial losses, after Congress approved the reform of the Judicial Branch.
With this decision The door opens for challenges to be admitted against changes to the justice system, given the fear of investors about the business environment in the country.
“The movement draws attention, especially because it occurs on a day of strengthening of the dollar, I think it has to do with the announcements that the reform of the Judiciary would be reviewed,” said Jacobo RodrÃguez, financial specialist at the Roga Capital firm.
