Decision of ministers on judicial reform, an outrage: Monreal- Grupo Milenio

Morena’s coordinator in the Chamber of Deputies, Ricardo Monreal, described as a “legal atrocity” that eight ministers of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN) They approved to analyze the constitutionality of the reform of the Judicial Branch.

“And today we woke up to the surprise that the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation intends to violate its own regulations, to rule on a matter that has already been completed for the good of the population, which is the constitutional reform in judicial matters,” he stressed.

On social networks, the also president of the Political Coordination Board (Jucopo) He asked his peers not to get angry but to find a solution to said decision.

“Obviously it is a legal atrocity, a constitutional atrocity that they intend to do, but we should not get angry, we must look for ways out. Just as they are trying to act in an unconstitutional manner, we legislators have to look for appropriate solutions and convenient responses,” he highlighted.

He mentioned that “we have a qualified majority thanks to the population, thanks to the popular vote, so there is no need to get angry. You have to look for ways out, there will always be them.”

And he added: “Legal reason assists us, moral reason assists us, and social reason assists us, and we have the reforming power, so there is no need to worry or look for more explanations, more than the desperation of a power that is going to lose its privileges, especially in the hierarchy, and that we are not going to stop. “We are going to continue until we completely clean up the justice system of this country.”

On the other hand, he called on deputies and the population, to the extent of their possibilities, to Help communities in the states of Guerrero, Quintana Roo, Michoacán and those places where they were affected by hurricanes John and Helene.

When going to the collection center that the Chamber of Deputies opened in the facilities of the Legislative Palace of San Lázaro, he mentioned that provisions, water, basic products, paper, food and everything that can be delivered to colleagues who were injured.

“The center is inside the Chamber of Deputies, there are facilities for them to enter and help their colleagues, the people who were affected by these hurricanes. John and Helene“, said.

He asked deputies to make an effort so that they can bring to this collection center, material, food, water and everything they can provide for these people. “It is indeed for them; I hope they can help us.”

Monreal Ávila mentioned that it is a grain of sand that “we are doing here in the Chamber of Deputies in this collection center. We must always show the best solidarity with the people: men, women and children who were affected. The center only started yesterday, for different reasons, but some people have already come.”

The center will receive supplies from October 2 to 11, and is located in “The Velarias”, next to the San Lázaro Legislative Palace Heliport (entrance through Gate 7).
