Glover, 41, initially postponed his Sept. 8. Houston concert “due to illness” and announced on Sept. 9 that he needed to postpone the rest of his North American dates to focus on his “physical health for a few weeks.”

He confirmed he planned to keep his health woes to himself when he specifically thanked fans for their “love,” “support” and “privacy.”

The Grammy winner announced the massive world tour in May after he released his album “Atavista,” which is a reworked version of his 2020 project, “3.15.20.”

The New World Tour kicked off in August and was set to run through Oct. 3 in the United States before going overseas.

The tour was also meant to be a farewell to his stage name, Childish Gambino.

His final record released under the moniker, “Bando Stone & the New World,” debuted in July.

That same month, Glover told the New York Times he felt his stage name was “not fulfilling.”

“And I just felt like I didn’t need to build in this way anymore,” he added.
