A woman was rescued from a water well where she remained for four days after being thrown by a subject she apparently knew.
Ubaldo González Carretes, state coordinator of Civil Protection of Morelos, reported that this Sunday they were alerted by the municipal authorities of Atlatlahucan that a woman was inside a well with some injuries, and that she was asking for help, according to the version of a farmer who passed by the place.
The official highlighted that when they arrived at the point, it was found that a woman was inside. with some injuries, and that she said she had been thrown into the water well by a man who previously assaulted her.
According to the version collected at the scene, the 32 year old woman whose name was not revealed for fear of reprisals, requested a taxi in Cuautla to go to work, however, On the way she was assaulted by the driver whom she knowsand who threw her into the well where he remained from last Wednesday to Sunday.
For their part, authorities from the Secretariat of Public Security and Citizen Protection of Morelos reported that after the rescue, the woman was transferred to the general hospital of Cuautla, to be evaluated for the injuries she presented, but also for some signs of dehydration.
Subsequently, it was made available to the Attorney General’s Office of the state of Morelos (FGE), But no further information was revealed because the victim is afraid of suffering reprisals.
