Aldi Ireland chiefs are urging shoppers to “raise a stein to Oktoberfest” with their beer range.

Aldi bosses said: “It’s the world’s biggest beer festival, but you don’t have to travel all the way to Munich to enjoy Oktoberfest.
“Pick up these beauties at your local Aldi and enjoy the best of German beer at home. Prost!”
Host your own Oktoberfest with the Bitburger 5L mini-keg just €24.99, that will get the party going.
Aldi chiefs also have a range of German-style beers from Irish brewery DOT Brew, including DOT Bock just €2.49 and DOT Helles, also €2.49.
Other Oktoberfest beers hitting the shelves include Spaten Oktoberfest costing €2.44, Einsiedler Weissbier €2.49, Erdinger Urweisse €2.69 and Maisel’s Original German Beer €2.44.
For those who want to wake up hangover free, choose Germany’s Bitburger 0.0 just €1.25 and Erdinger 0.0 only €1.95.
