Alfredo Talaverarenowned Mexican goalkeeper, has decided to end his professional career after 23 years as a goalkeeper, where he played in a few Liga Mx teams and also represented the Mexican team.
The last Talavera team in the highest circuit of Mexican soccer They were the Braves of Juárez, club that thanked him before the Apertura 2024 tournament of the Liga Mx started.
Through his social networks, and accompanied by a video of his saves, Alfredo Talavera announced his goodbye to football with an emotional message.
“Looking for the perfect moment, I remembered that that moment does not exist and that in the end, that is life… Moments. I thank football for these 23 years of First Division, for all those unforgettable moments of learning and growth that formed who I am to this day.”
Furthermore, Talavera took the time to thank to that boy who motivated him to follow his dream to become a professional footballer.

Obviously, andThe former goalkeeper expressed his gratitude to all the clubs he was part of in his extensive 23 years as a First Division goalkeeper. Talavera was a youth player Chivas, played for Tigres, Toluca, Pumas and the Bravos de Juárez, as well as being a goalkeeper for the Mexican team.
“Thank you to everyone who was and continues to be a part of my life. The best is always yet to come and I am ready to receive it. The sky is no longer the limit.”
In his career he achieved two Liga Mx titles, one with Chivas and another with Toluca; in addition to winning a Gold Cup and Concacaf Cup with El Tri.
