Lovers of travel, exploring new cultures and good gastronomy – an aspect that Bea especially discovered with Nacho – the first stop on their trip was the Maldives. A true paradise destination where you can disconnect from the stress of the wedding, sunbathe and relax in one of the incredible villas that so many couples choose for their honeymoon. “Can someone explain this paradise to me?” Bea asked her followers almost as soon as she arrived in a video in which she also explained the reason for her first stop in the Maldives. “It wasn’t even in our first plans.”
And, although their dream destination was to take an intensive route through Japan so as not to miss a single corner, the truth is that the agency that organized the trip recommended that they rest for four days in this dream place before starting to explore the country. Japanese country.
For this first stop, the newlyweds chose an exclusive five-star, all-inclusive resort with five restaurants located on the picturesque Raa Atoll, located about a 40-minute seaplane ride from Male Airport.
The hotel, which promises to become the ideal setting for the perfect getaway, has, as we said, a wide variety of gastronomic options from award-winning chefs, which Nacho and Bea showed us on their social networks (with dinners on the beach and pizzas next to the sea) to the exploration of the wonders above or under the water of the atoll, which of course they also enjoyed. “Hot pizzas and sea breeze, what could be better?” the bride herself wrote to her followers, overflowing with happiness.
One of the activities they did was a romantic couples massage in one of the six treatment rooms located over the lagoon overlooking the east coast of the island that has its holistic spa. “Piña colada, reading, enjoying ourselves, writing and a lot,” wrote the influencer along with a post in which she shared several snapshots of what her day-to-day life was like.
After four days in paradise, it was time to head to Japan. A country that they have traveled for several weeks without rest, traveling from one city to another and exploring all its corners like two other tourists.
They got there by miracle, since they didn’t miss the plane thanks to luck. “If they don’t delay the plane, we won’t arrive,” they confessed. According to what they said, the alarm did not ring in time. An anecdote that they did not hesitate to share either.
SECOND STOP: JAPAN
“And then, after an eternal journey, we are in Tokyo.” Once in Japan, the real adventure began. Days and days of walking non-stop, discovering museums, restaurants, cafes, temples and also many stores where Bea even bought a vintage Loewe bag that she hasn’t taken off since.
His first visit was to the Ginza neighborhood, where the shops of the Dover Street Market and the food of the Seamon Ginza restaurant marked his landing. “There are no words to describe how good everything was.” On the second day, they visited the Shibuya area, which was the one they most wanted to visit and where they left no corner undiscovered in a truly marathon day. “I think we walked 15 kilometers today,” he confessed on his Instagram profile.
And the next few days were similar. They discovered Roppongi, Naka-Meguro and Omotesando before heading to the second city on the tour, Kyoto, with which they instantly fell in love. “This would be our city. It has a soul that is very different and very much ours.”
Walks, contact with nature and videos of curiosities rounded off days of intensive tourism that continued in Osaka, where Bea Gimeno fulfilled one of her dreams, eating at Toyo’s restaurant, one of the best-known street food chefs in Japan and who He even has his own documentary on Netflix. With a far from easy life that the influencer herself told her followers, she was so impressed by his ability to improve that she did not want to miss the opportunity to visit this city without meeting him.
