The former far-right president of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaroreiterated this Tuesday his support for the former US president Donald Trump in the United States presidential election which are celebrated in two weeks.
“We are rooting for Trump… When he left (the presidency), look at the disgrace the world became,” he declared during a press conference in the city of São Paulo.
Bolsonaro received the support of the republican candidate in the 2022 presidential elections, which he lost to Luiz Inácio Lula da Silvaand both leaders have maintained contact and ideological harmony despite having left power.
In addition, the former president applauded the Brazilian who, during a recent Trump campaign event at a McDonald’s restaurant, asked the Republican candidate not to let “The United States became a Brazil“.

After the video went viral on social networks, Bolsonaro said that he had spoken by phone with the Brazilian, who is a firearms instructor in USA.
The former ultra president took the opportunity to criticize Lula for supposedly allying himself to “dictatorships” such as China, Russia and Venezuelaand for “hitting” Israel, a country that he called a “friendly nation” and that the current president has attacked for the Israeli offensive in Gaza.

Lula participates by videoconference this week in a meeting of the BRICSa group of countries that includes China and Russia and that is in full expansion with the inclusion of nations that live under dictatorial regimes.
On the other hand, the president has distanced himself from the Venezuelan government of Nicolas Madurowhose questioned electoral victory has not been recognized by the Brazilian.
