The mayor Gustavo Alarcón Herrera reported that a property is already being sought to relocate 493 affected familiess due to a geological fault, in the northwestern sector of the state capital.
Alarcón Herrera recognized that this is one of the issues that most concerns his administration, because it is a geological fault that already affects 18 neighborhoods, where at least 493 homes have already been declared uninhabitable.
The mayor commented that state and federal authorities have already asked him to find a property to relocate the families. whose houses definitely cannot be inhabited.
He even highlighted that the budget to acquire said property has already been authorized, but so far no place has been located.
He indicated: “They are asking me for a property, I already have a budget authorized but they are asking me to get the property.”
He highlighted that the conditions of a property are already being analyzed, but the deal has not yet been closed.
“That’s it, I’m tying it up, sorry for the terms but I have to say it, because I don’t want this investment to go away, I want it to stay here,” noted the first mayor.
