During the party’s fourth State Convention, held in Xalapa, Veracruz, the former senator briefly revealed his condition to the attendees and continued with his political message.
Delgado Rannauro told them that “before the doctor told me that I had a stomach cancer problem, he had scheduled events with the consent of the National Operational Coordination.”
Last August, the leader of Movimiento Ciudadano announced on his social networks that for several years he had undergone preventive medical check-ups, because there is a history of cancer-related illnesses in his family. On August 14, he underwent surgery without giving more details, until this day when he confirmed his condition.
So far none of the Citizen Movement leaders have commented on the health of their national leader.
