HARROW ON THE HILL, England — Patriots rookie quarterback Drake Maye was removed from the injury report Friday and is good to go Week 7 against the Jaguars.
That came after a minor injury scare early in the week when Maye was listed as a full participant with a knee injury. Maye, head coach Jerod Mayo and offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt all declined to say when the injury occurred.
Running back Rhamondre Stevenson (foot), wide receiver Javon Baker (illness), linebacker Curtis Jacobs (knee), cornerback Jonathan Jones (shoulder), LG Michael Jordan (ankle), LB Sione Takitaki (knee) and CB Marco Wilson (groin) are all listed as questionable.
Stevenson believes he’ll be ready to play Sunday after only getting in one practice over the last two weeks. Mayo said Stevenson would be a game-time decision.
Left tackle Vederian Lowe is the only player listed as out. Expect Demontrey Jacobs to replace him at left tackle with Jordan at left guard, Ben Brown at center, rookie Layden Robinson at right guard and Mike Onwenu at right tackle.
Robinson was benched after Week 4.
“Layden is one of the hardest practicing guys on the team,” Mayo said. “He always shows tremendous effort. Sometimes, you hit a wall, and he’s gone through that wall, and he’ll play tomorrow. He’s a very tough player, and I look forward to his future as well.”
