Monterey /
Fuerza Regia concluded the regular role of the 2024 Season with a defeat against the Soles de Mexicali, but still secured the leadership of the National Professional Basketball League.
The Monterrey quintet fell 86-82 at the PFS Auditorium to lose the key against Mexicali, but still maintain the top spot.
The reason was that the Jalisco Astros fell 104-70 in their exhibition against the Mexican Devils.
Thanks to this combination, the Force secured a Final attempt in La Fortaleza, in which it will seek the two-time LNBP championship.
Jhonathan Dunn was the MVP for the Monterrey team, scoring 16 points and three rebounds, in a duel in which, despite having come back right at the end of the game, Soles managed to take the victory.
The postseason will start until next October 26 and they will wait for the rival with the worst record to advance from the Play In Phase, a duel that will be in La Fortaleza at 4:00 p.m.
