Globe-trotting couple walks across ‘least visited’ country in seconds

Walking across an entire country might sound like a feat relegated to intrepid explorers of old.

However, Hudson and Emily Crider managed to traverse the South Pacific nation of Tuvalu on foot in under a minute — because it’s freaking tiny.

“Walking across this country took me less time than walking from my car into Target,” Emily gushed in an Instagram video detailing her and her hubby’s literal cross-country run.

The Pennsylvania natives — who go by @hudsonandemily on social media and boast over 277,000 followers — have made it their mission to visit every country on Earth.

It’s a pilgrimage they’ve nearly completed, having ticked 183 of the 195 countries off their list.

For the duo’s 183rd stop on the international tour, they went to the idyllic island of Tuvalu, which Emily describes on camera as possibly “the least visited country in the world.”

This swatch of land is also super small, boasting under 12,000 people and measuring 10 square miles — less than half the area of Manhattan, Fox News reported.

Best of all, Tuvalu is only 66 feet wide in some sections, which allowed the Criders to traverse it in under a New York minute, per a clip.

“Now this should only have been done by professionals,” joked Emily in the clip, quipping that it takes intense “preparation, serious hydration and the best of the best snacks.”

Accompanying footage showed her other half running up shirtless beside her — with water and Oreos in tow, as if prepping for a marathon.

That’s when she revealed the nature of their so-called overland jaunt for the ages.

“In 30 seconds, you can walk across the entire country…we did it,” exclaimed the world traveler, before panning to the beach marking the end of their “epic” trek.

The Criders observed in another video that it only takes around 25 minutes to drive from one end of the island to the other — a journey that’s best experienced via scooter, per Emily.

And while this light-speed cross-country jaunt might seem like a social media gimmick, Emily insisted that Tuvalu is a truly a “beautiful” place with an incredible populace.

“Tuvaluns are super friendly,” the globetrotter gushed in the clip.

“The coolest thing is that every night hundreds of people come out to the airstrip to play soccer, volleyball and ‘te ano’, a local Tuvalun sport.”
