Omar García Harfuchhead of the Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC), presented this Tuesday the National Security Strategy of the government of the President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo.
During the People’s Morning, the official reported that in the administration of President Sheinbaum the Secretary of Security will focus on four axes of action to improve public security.
“He first axis is attention to the causes. “We will continue with the strategy that began in the government of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador to prioritize the most vulnerable families, reducing poverty, closing gaps, inequality and generating opportunities,” he reported.
He The second axis will be the consolidation of the National Guardwithin the Ministry of Defense, “by strengthening its operational capabilities, guaranteeing its permanence, discipline, development, professionalism.”
About him third axis, García Harfuch reported that it will be Strengthening intelligence and research, “is not just about reacting, but also anticipating them using intelligence and more advanced technological resources to analyze data, identify patterns and understand dynamics.”
And finally, The fourth axis will be coordinationbecause “security is a problem that requires shared responsibility and a unified response, which is why we are going to have absolute coordination.”
