The dad-of-two and talented footballer was remembered for his “energy, charisma, and infectious spirit”.

Bunclody AFC said: “The word legend is often used, but rarely does it encapsulate the essence of a person as perfectly as it does for Sevi.

“His legacy is not just marked by his achievements on the field but by the profound impact he had on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.”

Teammates at the Wexford club told how Sevi collected an impressive array of medals over the course of his first-team career.

Bunclody AFC added: “Sevi’s passion for football also lives on through his children, Kiki and Dejan.

“His love for the game clearly rubbed off on them, and they have proudly followed in his footsteps.”

One teammate said: “Sevi was a wonderful teammate and friend whose passion for soccer and life touched us all.
