LONG DRAW (3.30 Warwick, nap).

Olly Murphy’s five-year-old was a very easy winner on his second handicap start at Ffos Las two starts ago, clear away late on. He looked set to do the same at Worcester last time but made a awful mistake at the second last before losing out by a short-head. A 6lb rise for that looks more than fair with the front pair pulling well clear and he can double his handicap tally under an all-action Sean Bowen.

SMALL FRY (4.50 Salisbury, nb)

Has come alive in recent starts, winning at Epsom and Chester with his head in his chest. He was well backed last time, which suggests his shrewd connections are expecting even more with this year. Up another 6lb, he can go in again under Tom Queally.

ODIN LEGACY (4.20 Salisbury, treble)

Gary and Josh Moore’s gelding made a pleasing handicap debut at Sandown last time. He’s just the type to kick on now for his top connections and the fact he can race off the same mark is a huge positive. It’s very early days for him and he could prove a class above with natural improvement.
