The governor of SonoraAlfonso Durazo Montaño, as part of the “Yaqui Justice Plan”, The IMSS-Bienestar Hospital of Vícam Switch began operating.

The state president conducted a supervision tour of the facilities in the company of authorities of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) and the traditional Yaqui governors. They were present:
- Joaquín Cota Buitimea from Vícam.
- Felipe Álvarez Flores de Ráhum.
- Leocadio Molina Valdez de Huirivis.
- Alonso Abraham Álvarez Valencia de Belem.
- Fausto Ochoa Rivera de Bácum.
- Juan Ezequiel García Bacasegua from Cócorit.
- Rodrigo Álvarez Bacasegua de Tórim.
- Claudio Rivera García de Pótam.
The tour was carried out with the purpose of check its operation and guarantee that, like this work, which today is a reality promoted during the administration of Andrés Manuel López Obrador, yesand continue with the development and prosperity projects for the Yaqui ethnic group, supported by President Claudia Sheinbaum.
“This hospital is a product of the “Yaqui Justice Plan”, born from the mind and heart, from the commitment of President López Obrador with the native peoples”.
“From what was heard publicly yesterday, particularly at the Zócalo event our president Claudia Sheinbaum, already adopted the Yaqui Justice Plan, So we are going to continue working together to build the second floor of the Yaqui Justice Plan”, he indicated.

The IMSS-Wellbeing Hospital of Vícam Switch It had an investment of 503 million pesos and has a capacity of 30 census beds and 56 doctors that offer care on a continuous basis, con services of:
- Emergencies.
- Family medicine.
- Traditional medicine.
- Pediatrics.
- Gynecology.
- Obstetrics.
- Ophthalmology.
- Otorhinolaryngology.
- Nutrition.
- Psychology.
- Oral health.
- Epidemiology.
- Vaccination.
In this regard, Mr. Juan Gregorio Jaime León, a resident of Huirivis, mentioned that this hospital represents a work that lThe members of the ethnic group had asked governments for decades and that today with the official delivery by the governor Alfonso Durazo Montaño makes free healthcare a reality.
“We are happy, we have been longing for this for a long time. In terms of healthand here we are seeing; Until yesterday I came to bring a sick person, I liked it a lot, I am very excited about what our president Andrés Manuel López Obrador left us, who ended his term yesterday.
“But we are also happy for the new president who is starting her position, we have a lot of confidence in her, I hope I continue working for indigenous and Afro-Mexicans. We are grateful to you, governor, and we hope you continue to support us,” he commented.
With the IMSS-Bienestar Rural Hospital in Vícam Switch, the eight Yaqui Villages have decent and free medical infrastructure for the first time.
