The security authorities and Guerrero prosecutor’s office they dismantled a ‘monster’ vehicle manufacturing workshop with acronyms of New Generation Guard criminal group.
During the operation carried out by federal, state and ministerial forces, they secured a property.
The workshop was located on a dirt road, which is located one kilometer from the Coyuca-Pueblo Viejo highway, at the point known as “Los Encinos”, in the municipality of Coyuca de Benitez.
What was secured at the scene?
In the intervention of the federal and state forces Two vehicles were seized, including a Silverado-type truck with handmade armor.
Furthermore, it was found a motorcyclea stencil to paint with the initials GNG and fifteen empty drums with a capacity of 200 liters each, which bore the legend of benzyl alcohol, allegedly used as a paint solvent.
The seized objects were made available to the Public Ministry for the integration of the corresponding investigation folder.

The monster cars used by drug trafficking cartels – also known as Rhinos, Frankensteins or Narcotanks – are handcrafted armored vehicles with one or two inch steel plates and weapons, which they use for confrontations between criminal groups.
