“We wanted to enjoy again what we stopped doing at some point without even knowing why,” said Jonaz (Jonás González) about himself and the rest of the The Concorde, who recently released “Envenéname”, a song that presents a new stage of the ‘super group’ that began its career in 2008.

For now, “Envenéname” becomes the letter of introduction of this new facet of the group, which, its members say, has become a lair for them, a forum for their creativity and an excuse for friendship.
“What we are doing is going to end up finding its placery his way. We trust that for many people we are a band that they have never heard and we think that many will be able to discover it and look back if they are interested in what we are doing today. 15 years later we are all older and there is a different perspective, thanks to that there are many interesting sides to discover for the band,” added Jonaz, also a member of Plastilina Mosh.
Since its birth, Los Concorde became popular with the public. being an explosion of ideas, risk and creativity. Mauricio Clavería, drummer of La Ley, admits that this lack of pressure has always worked in favor of the band and that is no different now, since experience and distance have allowed them to return with the certainty that this, Los Concorde, is a space that not only allows, but stimulates the search for the original and unexpected.
“This is a band that lends itself to experimentation. We don’t belong to any record company and we don’t have to stick to that type of way things were done in those times,” says Clavería.
“Now there are other things about communicating with your listeners and we are also part of it.” of that new trend. That’s exactly why we made this band, to experiment, to do things that we couldn’t do in our ‘mother’ bands. Going by that rule is our message, that music can be made however you want with the people you like to do it with.”

And this does not mean that the new material does not have extensive preparation, but rather that beyond seeking a philosophical incentive that inspires musical creation, Los Concorde explore the everyday, comedy and universal experience, but all driven by the need to continue interacting with each other, as musicians and friends.
“This is a wave of self-satisfaction and if this can remain as something nice forso that someone else can appreciate it from the outside, so let it be that way, but more than the concern of saying something to someone, it is the concern of having a good time among friends and doing what we really enjoy: making songs, going out. playing, traveling and visiting restaurants,” Jonaz stated.
The lineup of Los Concorde during its active years changed because that was always the essence of the group, however, Leonardo de Lozanne clarified that in this new stage they are comfortable being four and, although they are not closed to collaborations, everything they are preparing they have finalized together.
In the same way, the group confirmed that they are eager to play live againvisiting cities like Guadalajara, Monterrey, Mexico City, other states in the country and even abroad, but in the same way that distance has been an obstacle to presenting themselves, technology has supported them when creating.
“It’s interesting that the four of us live in different and very distant cities. We use long distance technology a lot, which is wonderful, if we didn’t have those tools, we probably wouldn’t see each other as much. We take advantage of the fact that we are together to rehearse, but the vast majority of things are done remotely,” confirmed Leo de Lozanne.
“The four of us are very excited to present this. That is the dimension that excites us at the moment. For a long time the band was more of a collective and now it is the four of us, who are the originals.”
