Died Michael Newman actor Baywatchafter suffering a long 18-year fight against Parkinson. He was 68 years old and was acclaimed for his performances in the series broadcast between between 1989 and 2001.
The unfortunate news was confirmed by Matthew Felkerclose friend of Michael Newman, who through a publication on Instagram mourned his death.
Felker described Newman as a man whom everyone would like to have as a friendsince it comes into people’s lives to change it in a positive way.
“Few of us are lucky enough to have someone like Mike Newman come in and change our lives. I met Mike 5 years ago in the early stages of a Baywatch series (Baywatch in Spanish). After 5 years following his life and becoming very close friends, Mike was able to see the series come to fruition. The amount of problems this series had and obstacles was like no other. Mike wasn’t just a real-life hero. “He was a competitor through and through.”
He asserted that The actor taught him to give his best in the worst moments or in those in which he considered that he had no greater possibilities.
“I knew how much this show meant to him and his life. There were times when I wanted to throw it all away… And then I remembered Mike. I couldn’t let him down… I couldn’t quit. He never did. We were successful together making something that was almost impossible against obstacles you wouldn’t believe. Seeing him light up at our premiere in Santa Monica was worth all the shit I put up with for years. He said “he did it… He really did it!” “You did it Mike.”

He remembered that the last time you saw the actor Baywatch was unconsciousbut from one moment to the next he woke up and played a joke on him, as he usually did.
“I got to see Mike before he died. He was mostly unconscious… When I showed up he was awake almost like a miracle and he looked at me and said ‘you’re just in time’ and laughed. That was Mike. He found humor all the way to the final. Before we left him, we read him letters and played videos from friends from all walks of life.
“He knew he was loved. Before I left him he grabbed my hand as tight as he could and looked me in the eyes and just nodded, I nodded and said, ‘We’ll meet again… I promise.’ A few days later. “I lost my friend. A hero. My hero. Thank you for coming into my life Newmie. Even if it was a brief moment,” he concluded.
