Plenary session of the Senate of the Republic authorizes the departure of elements of the Special Forces Corps
Unanimously, the Senate Plenary authorized the head of the Federal Executive to withdraw elements of the Mexican Army and Air Forceoutside the country’s borders, with the aim of participating in a training exercise in the United Kingdom.
The ruling was previously approved by the National Defense Commission, which forwarded it to the Senate Board of Directors to include it in the agenda of the session, discuss it and approve it, given the proximity of the date on which the exercise will be carried out.
With the approval of the ruling, a delegation made up of a chief, four officers and six troops belonging to the Special Forces Corps of the Secretariat of National Defense, will be able to leave the country to participate in the event “Cambrian Patrol 2024”, in the area of ​​Brecon, Wales, United Kingdom, from October 4 to 13, 2024.
