This figure is the opposite at the national level, since the penetration of residential customers at the national level is 7 percent. Regarding environmental issues, Natural gas is essential for the energy transition as a fuel that allows to move towards the renewable energiessince it allows the reduction of emissions by up to 80 percent, meeting Mexico’s goals and commitments in international treaties.
