The owners of the Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers They announced this Saturday the joint donation of four million dollars in support of the victims of the hurricane Helene that hit the coast of Florida last Thursday.
Through the foundation that bears their names, David and Nicole Tepper, owners of the Panthers, contributed three million dollars to the campaign that some owners of the NFL to raise funds for those affected by this natural phenomenon.
“The David and Nicole Tepper Foundation, Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC stand by all those who have been affected by the hurricane Helene and the devastation it has caused in the Southeast and particularly in our backyard in the Carolinas,” the Teppers published in a statement.
Executives underscored the commitment the Carolina Panthers have to the community in these times of need.
“This is our home. We are committed to supporting relief efforts throughout the region by providing resources. The impact on our community has been severe, but Carolinians are resilient and brave. Together we will rebuild and recover,” the owners said of Panthers.
The Glazer family, which manages the Tampa Bay Buccaneersjoined this campaign with a million dollars through the family foundation and that of its franchise.
“The flood caused by the hurricane Helene has been devastating for many people in the state, specifically, in our Tampa community. There are many areas that will require additional time and resources to begin recovery.“wrote Darcie Glazer, owner of the Bucs and both foundations.

“We offer our full support to those who have been affected. We are grateful for the heroic efforts of the many first responders who are working tirelessly to ensure the safety and well-being of our community during this difficult time,” concluded the Buccaneers owner.
The hurricane Helenewhich has already been demoted to posttropical cycloneentered the territory of North Carolina last Thursday after forcefully whipping Georgia and Florida as category 4 hurricane.
