FOXBORO — The Patriots can’t catch a break with injuries this season.
C David Andrews (shoulder), S Kyle Dugger (ankle), WR K.J. Osborn (shoulder), S Jabrill Peppers (shoulder) and T Caedan Wallace (ankle) all missed practice Wednesday. Andrews is expected to undergo season-ending shoulder surgery.
On top of that, 10 players were listed as limited, including three players returning off of the PUP and injured reserve lists. TE Jaheim Bell (neck), WR Kendrick Bourne (PUP, knee), LB Anfernee Jennings (shoulder), CB Jonathan Jones (shoulder), G Michael Jordan (ankle), C Nick Leverett (ankle), T Vederian Lowe (knee), S Marte Mapu (IR, calf), G Layden Robinson (ankle/wrist) and LB Sione Takitaki (PUP, knee) were all limited.

Leverett is expected to replace Andrews as the starting center, but he wasn’t doing much in practice Wednesday. Robinson also was sitting out of individual drills. They were replaced by Bryan Hudson at center and Sidy Sow at right guard with Michael Jordan at left guard.
Osborn was present for practice but apparently did not participate.
It was previously not known that Mapu was dealing with a calf injury. He suffered an injury early in training camp and sat out for most of the summer before being placed on injured reserve with a designation to return.
