FOXBORO — Expect the Patriots’ offensive line to be shorthanded Sunday against the 49ers.
Left tackle Vederian Lowe (knee) and left guard Michael Jordan (ankle) were non-participants in Thursday’s practice. Lowe started Week 2 against the Seahawks, and Jordan has started the Patriots’ first three games of the season. Cornerback Alex Austin (ankle) was also absent.
Outside linebacker Anfernee Jennings (shoulder), who was listed Wednesday as a non-participant on the Patriots’ injury report, worked in individual drills Thursday.
With Lowe and Jordan out, Demontrey Jacobs and Sidy Sow could be counted on to start at left tackle and left guard, respectively. Jacobs finished last Thursday’s loss to the Jets after starter Caedan Wallace suffered a knee injury. Sow was a projected starter all summer but suffered an ankle injury in the Patriots’ preseason finale and has yet to make his regular season debut.
Jacobs was claimed off waivers from the Broncos after roster cuts.
