Santander opens waiting list for Openbank Mexico clients – Grupo Milenio

The financial institution Santander announced that starting today it will open a waiting list for those interested in being among the first to access its 100 percent digital banking offer, Openbank Mexico.

The bank detailed in a statement that customers can register through the site web of Openbank Mexico, where your name and email will be registered, the platform is expected to begin operations in the country before the end of the year.

Openbank Mexico will operate in the country with a technological platform designed internally by the firm that provides the client with security, functionality and design, in order to compete with digital financial institutions, known as fintech.

Currently, the financial institution’s platform is operating in four markets: Spain, Netherlands, Portugal and Germanywhere it currently has more than 2 million customers, it is also expected that the launch of this platform will reach USA next month.
