Sedena delivers groceries in the Sierra de Atoyac de Álvarez, Guerrero- Grupo Milenio

In support of the communities of the mountain area of ​​the State of Guerrero in the municipality of Atoyac de Álvarez, Mexican Army troops have delivered groceries and bottled water to its inhabitants.

This Sunday, members of the Sedena and National Guard flew to the communities of San Vicente de Jesús and El Quemado, both in the municipality of Atoyac de Álvarez.

In these towns the military authorities and The National Guard delivered 120 food items, in addition to bottled water for the inhabitants of the area.

Since last September 30, Sedena and the Mexican Air Force have so far delivered some 11,472 food supplies to residents of the mountain area. which is equivalent to 305 tons of food transported by air, it is highlighted.

In these tasks, the personnel of the Mexican Army and Mexican Air Force, due to the impact caused by Hurricane John, which left damage in more than 70 municipalities.

The above is part of the application of Plan DN-III-E, for which food supplies and bottled water are distributed by air to date and in different communities in the mountain area.

It is highlighted that seven helicopters from the Mexican Air Force and 2 helicopters from the National Guard have been used to distribute the more than 300 tons in towns in the mountains.
