The CSIO Barcelona has hosted the Estrella Damm Trophy; he oldest international sporting event in Spain, which celebrates this year the eleventh edition of the Nations Cup final in its new format, the Longines League of Nations TM. The first test in which the Spanish rider Leticia Riva has won, riding Cadum, followed by the Catalan Alex Codina and London Blue and the Brazilian Stephan de Freitas Barcha riding Chevaux Hex Lup. Some of the biggest stars of the event have gathered, such as the current world number one, the Swede Henrik von Eckermannwith his incredible King Edward, or the gold medal of Paris 24, Christian Kukuk from Germany riding Checker.

The competition has also had the participation of the Spanish Amazon Sira Martínez, who has suffered a penalty point for exceeding time in his route riding Pipper des Vergers Z. Throughout the day, various representatives of Catalan institutions could be seen such as Berni Álvarez, Sports Councilor of the Generalitat of Catalonia and Abel García, Secretary General of Sports of the Generalitat of Catalonia.
