The State Coordination of Civil Protection and Risk Management (CEPCyGR) informed the population of the municipality of Juchitán de Zaragoza, in the region of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, that already the temporary shelter is activel located at the Istmo Technological Institute (ITI), which has a capacity for 500 people.
After the overflowing of the Los Perros River, due to the passage of the tropical depression Eleven-Ethis space was opened, which so far has occupancy of 18 families, with a total of 61 people.
These people were evacuated from Excelsior Alley, the Fifth Section, Cuauhtémoc Avenue in the Eighth Section, as well as the Río Alley in the Fifth Section, of said municipality.
The same way, constant monitoring is maintained of the Tamarindo, Ostuta and Suluapa rivers, located in the town of Santo Domingo Zanatepec; El Novillero, in San Pedro Tapanatepec; as well as the Holy Spirit of Santo Domingo Ingenio, all located in the Isthmus region, which are currently at 50 percent of their capacity.
