A group of residents of the municipality of San Andrés Larrainzar tied up and punished an alleged vehicle thief in the area.
In a video circulating on social networks, a man can be seen hanging from a basketball court structure, blindfolded and half-naked, while screaming in pain from the punishment inflicted on him.
The reason why the inhabitants of this municipality hanged this person is because they caught him trying to steal vehicles that were parked, since apparently it was not the first time that these thefts were recorded, for which he was arrested and as punishment They hung in this multipurpose court.
In this way, the inhabitants of this community decided to take justice into their own hands, according to uses and customs, to try to inhibit criminal activities in this region.
So far it is unknown if this person has been released and handed over to the competent authorities, since it is not the first time that a person who commits crimes in the region is punished in this way.
