José Madero has become a reference within the music Mexican. His successful albums have led him to be in the best festivals and the best venues inside and outside of Mexico. Now, the musician has released his sixth material Sarajevo.
At a press conference held at the WTC in Mexico City, the singer spoke about what this material has meant where, at first, it didn’t feel personal, but this has changed as it became the most of his career.
“Will it be worth talking about the difficulties of being an artist? Maybe people just want to hear about my missteps and identify with my bad moments,” she said.
During his career, José has been highly criticized for absolutely everything he has done and does.
“Sometimes they treat us as if we have no feelings; We are not allowed to have emotions; the artist always has to be helpful or kind or give to the audience when and how they want” she continued.
Metallica and José Madero
A few years ago, José Madero was invited by Metallica to be part of the commemorative album The Blacklist where he performed The Unforgivenbeing a big surprise for everyone.
“I have read people saying “ah, more of the same.” On this album I started using elements that I had never used before as programmed rhythms. When I was little I listened to industrial music and I started using it in the cover I did of Metallica (The Unforgiven).”
José Madero and his reaction to the microseism
In the middle of the press conference, lA seismic alert sounded on the 46th floor of the WTCin Mexico City causing the event to stop. After about 10 minutes and a 5.3 earthquake, Jose Madero was seen calmly with the media.
When the conference resumed, the first thing he did was make sure everyone was okay.
“What if I had done what the candidate did, saying ‘everyone get out’, then my career would have ended like he lost the elections. He had a good talk with one of you while the earthquake was going on,” he mentioned.
José Madero and his musical career
The famous singer-songwriter, composer and music producer, in addition to his other titles, is remembered and recognized in the world of music for being the Vocalist of the band PXNDX from its founding in 1996 until 2016where he announced that he would begin his career as a soloist.
Since then he has presented a large number of hits, as has his secret folk rock project (Magnolia and the Forget-Me-Nots) a kind of ‘plan B’ in case the band was not a success.
However, his career in music has been a great reference in this area and It started thanks to the simple Crimsonsame as debuted on digital platforms a few hours after presenting the band’s last concert.
