UNAM 2024 Culture Festival ends – Grupo Milenio

In its last weekend the university festival dedicated to art and culture, the UNAM Culture Festival 2024will spoil us with several presentations dedicated to the sound arts:

Stephan Micus concert: This German musician who was born in 1953, began exploring musical cultures from an early age. He traveled to the East, which marked his artistic destiny. His fascination with cultural diversity led him to visit practically all Asian, European, African and American countries. During these trips, he studied with local master musicians, immersing himself in the authentic traditions and sounds of each place, exploring new musical possibilities inherent to each of them. In his compositions, he combines instruments that have never been played together before, creating musical dialogues that reflect his vision of transcultural music, where the borders between genres and traditions fade. Thus, Stephan becomes a bridge between cultures, a musical traveler who invites us to listen to the world from a unique and enriching perspective.
