In Formentera, on the seashore and with a beautiful sunset as the background scenery (and her beloved dog, Lola, running around), this was the most emotional moment that the influencer Rocio Camacho when her boyfriend, Guillermo Ayllón, fell in front of her and asked her to be his wife. Afterwards everything was tears of absolute happiness, hugs and romantic kisses, together with the shock of Rocío not believing what she was experiencing (irony of fate that just a few hours before she had been joking with him about how he still didn’t commit at 30). Rocío smiled and cried in equal parts, and hugged moved who will become her future husband next September 2025. We spoke with the influencer La Mancha about love, what his marriage proposal was like, and details of the big day.
-First of all, congratulations! Was this something you were waiting for?
-It was something that we had talked about and above all about which I had joked a lot. My intuition was that if he asked me he would do it in July when we came to Formentera But we had to return halfway through the trip because of Guille’s work and inside I thought that if it hadn’t been on that trip, it wouldn’t happen until another year. I wasn’t overly concerned either, it’s something I was excited about but nothing essential.
© @rocioccamacho-Tell us how the proposal went, did you suspect something or did it catch you completely off guard?
-I think I will not forget that moment in my life and I hope I can keep it engraved in my brain forever. That day Guille was very strange, he spoke very little to me and I kept asking him if something was wrong with me, but he only told me no, that he was calm and enjoying himself. Spoiler: No, I was very tense and going over how I was going to do everything second by second. Whenever we come to Formentera we record a video of the two of us watching the sunset, sometimes for networks and sometimes for memories, and I told him to record it that day so it was nothing strange or suspicious that we went to a beach to watch the sunset…but when he looked at me with those eyes that were too bright, and I saw that he was trembling, I understood what was going to happen.
-Does the place, Formentera, have a special meaning for you?
-Yeah. Since we knew each other we have come to Formentera every year. Sometimes two days, sometimes a week, depending on our availability. But the first time we came we had a conversation that marked a before and after for both of us about what we both wanted and we promised to return here together every year. There couldn’t be a more perfect place than this to do it.

-How did you meet Guillermo? Did the ‘spark’ arise from the beginning?
-I met him in the place where I have always said that a love relationship can never arise. In a nightclub. In 2021 I was heartbroken, in the middle of the healing process and I went with my friends to Tarifa. That last night I didn’t want to go out and party and my friends convinced me to do it. I remember as if it were yesterday entering the place, seeing him and telling my friends “hey, that boy is very cute, isn’t he?” We didn’t stop looking at each other all night and finally he came up to talk to me. We spoke for two sentences but when I was going to leave he asked for my phone number. We were talking for a month daily on WhatsApp because he he went to the US for work, and the same day he came back we met up and the rest is history…

-Guille is a representative of professional tennis players, among others, Jasmine Paolini, current world number 5.
-How long have you been together?
-We made 3 years last September 14.
-What do you like most about him?
-The ability to adapt he has to everything, the tranquility he gives me and why deny it, he cooks very well hahaha. Since we met I told him that my life was very improvised and not everyone handles that well. He gave me my space from minute 1, he has perfectly understood what my life is like and makes everything much easier.

-You would have to ask him that hahaha. What he has always told me is that what he admires most about me is the ability to always try to improve in all aspects of my life.
-For you, what does love mean?
-I thought that in the society we live in it was practically impossible to find a love like that of my parents but I have discovered that it exists. For me, love is finding your partner in a partner. best friendfamily and the person who, even having the door open to leave, always chooses to stay.

-When you announced on social networks that you were getting married, you wrote ‘the easiest YES of my life’, do you think that in love, when it is the right one, it is easy?
-Completely. The relationships I had experienced were the opposite of this. A continuous wait for But I have discovered that healthy love is very easy. It has nothing of perfection or idealization as we see on social networks, because it has a lot of uncomfortable conversations, adaptation and understanding, and for me that is the fundamental thing for it to be durable. That both parties are willing to shake hands even in uncomfortable situations.
© @rocioccamacho-When did you know that you wanted to spend the rest of your life with Guillermo?
-When we did it a year ago, I remember talking to my friends about how what I had with Guille was something I had never experienced and that I felt like we were both taking care of him as best we knew how because we were aware that it is something difficult to achieve and even more difficult to maintain. .
-What is the best advice you have been given about love?
-I think the best advice was given to me by my mother, who is the person who knows perfectly each of my pasts. experienceswho always told me that I never need anyone to be happy, but that when someone makes me happy, give 100% without thinking about whether what I will receive back will be the same because what we leave in others is always what we give, not what they give us back.
-And the best advice you would give, based on your life experience?
-I would say that you have to go through everything in life. that the heartbreakscrying and suffering is part of knowing what you want in life. And the same thing happens with love. I also believe that when it’s the right person for you, everything feels easy and that’s the biggest sign that IT’S THERE.
© @rocioccamacho-In addition to your fashion content, you are also very aware on social networks about the issues of mental health, self-esteem, healthy relationships…what would you say are the bases for a healthy relationship?
-The capacity of commitment understanding that love is a choice, respect, communication, passion and loyalty.
-Was getting married part of your life plans, or was it something you want after having met Guillermo?
-It’s funny because I have never wanted to get married. It is a conversation that I have had many times with my friends but it was nothing that caught my attention or excited me, but with Guille I changed my mind a lot, we started talking about the subject and it was something that began to excite me, imagining our day with all our friends, our family and people we love and here we are, planning our wedding!
-What would you say to someone who wants to meet a person to have a relationship?
-Don’t force things, the most beautiful things come when you least expect them and least look for them.
© @rocioccamacho-Tell us about the ring, had you given him an idea of what you liked, or did he have ‘complete freedom’ to choose it?
-When we had ever talked about it jokingly, I had always told him something. ring specifically about Suárez, which I loved, but we have never talked about it as a serious and obligatory topic, far from it. But he just chose that for the most important day.
-You want to get married in September next year, how would you like your wedding to be?
-We are both very clear about the wedding style, we want to surround ourselves with people who make us happy and have a civil ceremony emotional with friends and family and one of those parties that will not be forgotten in a long time.
-Anything special that you would like your wedding to have?
-We both have several specific ideas about the cocktail and djs specifically, and some other surprises that we would like there to be. But we still have a lot of work to do to see if everything would be viable. Something that we are very clear about is that Lola, my dog, has to be present at the ceremony. We have always talked that when Guille came into my life, he didn’t choose just me, but Lola and me.
© @rocioccamacho-You are Castilian-La Mancha, but you break the “tradition” of getting married in the place where you are from, do you feel more bond with Madrid than with your homeland?
-Not at all. I love my landits people and everything that has to do with Ciudad Real. But in the end we have to be realistic with our lives, our jobs and how it will be to organize everything and the easiest and most comfortable thing for both of us is to do it in Madrid taking into account that a lot of people from the US also come.
-Do you have ideas for your wedding dress?
-I honestly have no idea… I love dresses with open backs. And I am clear that my style Everyday is something simple, nothing overloaded and therefore for the wedding day I will look for something like that. I don’t want to feel dressed up, I would like to feel in my style, comfortable and beautiful.
-You have traveled a lot over the years, what place would you like for your honeymoon?
-We are talking about Bora BoraNeither of us have ever been and they have spoken very well of me, but we would also like something more adventurous like a safari. Costa Rica was one of our favorite trips because we had adventure and relaxation and we will look for a destination that combines both!
