It all started with an immersive experience where the Shein team welcomed guests by giving them a canvas bag to customize and a lottery-style ticket with different tickets to participate in fun experiences, such as throwing balls at wrestlers, using rods to catch little fish and throw hoops, as well as enjoying snacks.

The first collection to be shown on the catwalk was that of Guillermo Flores, who is going to celebrate 20 years as a designer, who received the invitation naturally, to include his collaboration, which consists of eight garments that include clothing and accessories on the platform.

“My art is very based on nature, “In addition to a mixture that is latent there. They asked me to reinterpret Mexico in a fun way, I have a theme with wrestlers and my proposal is along those lines, with iconic characters,” said the artist from Guadalajara.

Lourdes Villagómez’s collection was inspired by traditional things and mischievous women from Mexico, which make it unique, “I rescued peculiar things that make us laugh, my proposal is for people who want to have fun. I have done many collaborations and I love to highlight the things from Mexico and the good things we have, that is what I like to transmit,” he said.

I am Raulito, originally from Hidalgo, I studied graphic design and he said that thanks to social media, Shein came to him to do this collaboration, he started four years ago, his proposal is very graphic and his seal has vibrant colors, “I am excited to reach this point, my collection is fun and I want everyone to use it,” he said.

Designer Andonella showed all the things she loves about Mexico In her proposal, each garment refers to the nostalgia of the 2000s and although she confessed that it was difficult for her to decide on just one thing, she finally captured elements such as jacarandas on a jacket, ducks and chagos from the Chapultepec Zoo on other pieces and licuachelas on t-shirts, elements that are representative of Mexico City. “My collection is aimed at people who like humor, landscapes and fashion,” she said.
