This is evident from a Ciphix survey among dozens of Dutch companies. In addition to a lack of collaboration, companies that want to implement hyperautomation also experience shortages of resources and expertise (64%) and often lack a clear vision on digitalization (60%).
Respond more quickly to market changes
Companies are considering hyperautomation primarily to respond more quickly and flexibly to market changes (52%). They also want to accelerate application development (36%) or enable employees to build applications themselves (28%).
When asked about the biggest dangers of delaying hyperautomation, companies fear operational inefficiencies, higher costs and a drop in productivity (80%). They also worry about not being able to keep up with trends and market developments (64%) and losing their competitive edge (40%).
